CentOS 6 now available

CentOS 6 OS template is now available. You can reinstall your VPS and choose your OS template from Hypanel, “Machine settings” tab.

CentOS 6 comes with the following versions:

Apache 2.2
MySQL 5.1.47
PostgreSQL 8.4.4
Memcached 1.4.4
Ruby 1.8.7
PHP 5.3.2
Tomcat 6 / OpenJDK 6

Updated CPanel templates

Fresh and updated CentOS 5 templates with CPanel/WHM 11.30.x ready installed are now available on 32 and 64 bits.

This should save you about one hour and a half, since you don’t need to install CPanel yourself.

Install script has also been deployed to update main shared IP, host name and some other stuff automatically. This will also save you some support queries .

Latest Ubuntu, Fedora and Suse now available

Scientific Linux 6 template available

Scientific Linux 6 32 bit and 64 bit OS templates are now available.

As always, for new VPS systems you can choose Scientific Linux in the order form, for existing VPS’es you can reinstall from Hypanel -> Machine setting tab.

Latest Gentoo now available

Ubuntu 10.10 available

Ubuntu 10.10, the Maverick Meerkat, is now available. As usual existing: customer reinstall your VPS from Hypanel, new customers (or VPS’s) choose Ubuntu 10.10 32 or 64 bit on order form.

Fedora 13 now available

We’ve added Fedora 13 to the available OS templates list:

Fedora 13 64-bit
Fedora 13 32-bit

As always, existing customers can reinstall from Hypanel, new customers can choose Fedora 13 in the order form.

Arch Linux 2010.05 templates available

We’ve added two Arch Linux operating system templates that you can choose to install on your VPS:

Arch Linux 2010.05 64-bit Minimal
Arch Linux 2010.05 32-bit Minimal

You can reinstall your VPS from Hypanel and choose an Arch Linux template. New customers can also choose Arch Linux this on the order form.

Ubuntu 10.04 templates available

After publishing the safe upgrade steps to Ubuntu 10.04 a few days ago we have now released the Ubuntu 10.04 32-bit and Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit templates.

Existing customers can reinstall their VPS from Hypanel or can follow the upgrade steps. New customers can choose the operating system template in the order form.

You can also reinstall your VPS yourself anytime from Hypanel at no extra cost and choose one of our 30 OS templates.

New Linux flavours available

As we’ve been announcing on the IntoVPS twitter account we have a few new OS templates available:

Archlinux 11.09
Slackware 13.0
Ubuntu 9.10

We’re currently working on Pardus and TurnKey. Looks like Pardus is not compatible with the OpenVZ kernel, we’re still working to find a solution.
