The future of ipv4/ipv6 is not so clear for me. I need 2 services on the same port (IPv4), so I need two IP addresses. The email announce says: «Existing customers (Small, Medium and Large packages) are not currently affected as we'll keep the current number of IP addresses included in these packages (two) for the following year (until December 5th 2012).»
Does it means that I've to buy my second IPv4 address before December 5th 2012? If so, will you plan a pressing notification system, to avoid downtimes?
Existing customers with packages Small, Medium and Large will no longer have 2 IPs addresses included, but just 1 starting with December 5th 2012 (one year from now).
This means that customers will be invoiced 1 extra IP address. Customers that have automatic PayPal subscriptions should cancel it and create a new one when paying the new invoice or if they only need 1 IP address should tell us to remove one and update the invoice.
Good question, I should have made this more clear in the email announcement.
I will remind every one about this change 2 weeks before it and be more clear about options.
But largely services won't be affected if a customer doesn't do anything, except for those having an automatic PayPal subscription :).
