I'm close to reach my traffic amount. This is due to:
Public services and related activities
Remote backups
System updates (Gentoo)
Perhaps the third reason could be managed.
As every Gentoo user knows, system updates could be managed in a "local" way. In a LAN, for example, usually one master host makes portage updates and distfiles repository. The other ones grab from the master.
Is it possible to conceive a similar architecture for the IntoVPS network(s)? In other words, if we start a Gentoo community (or maybe one local Gentoo community for each network: Amsterdam, Cluj-Napoca, etc.) and we share updates, can we save some traffic?
I'm going to purchase another VPS for different purposes, it will be another Gentoo Linux OS, it could stay in Amsterdam too... There's a way to skip Internet and build a network "shortcut" between them? (Or what else?)
