What do you think about paid tickets

    We're thinking of introducing paid tickets.

    A paid ticket would be for a single issue and would cost $10.

    Here's some of the stuff that can we can do for a simple paid ticket:
    - configure domain DNS (everybody wants to see all green in IntoDNS :) )
    - initial CPanel configuration, including custom DNS servers configuration
    - install and configure a script (such as wordpress, drupal etc. etc.)
    - install mail server
    - install ftp server
    - install web server
    - configure mail server for best practices: reverse DNS on IPs, SPF, DKIM

    Since the ticket is only $10 we obviously need to stick to simple stuff. For more complicated stuff we might later introduce some "admin for rent" options that would be more expensive.

    What do you think? What kind of tasks would you need to be done (keep in mind the cost though :) )?

    I'm not sure...
    maybe i would use it for check/fix configuration problems on one specific server software, or for install/configure software/scripts (like centova/whmcs... btw, ill be awesome if you start to offer licenses for this 2)

    but i was thinking more on a semi-managed vps, that will be awesome, and (hopefully) don't need to be expensive since fully-managed services for dedicated servers are offered for 50$ regularly.

    I think it could work for some tasks, as long as it doesn't turn into a "premium support" thing, and that other tickets will be delayed. The fast response times are a big part of why I use IntoVPS, and have no plans to move anywhere else. ;-)

    The included fast support is just for basic issues like Hypanel, network, hardware issues.

    While these paid tickets are for installations and configurations inside a VPS.
    And the paid tickets won't delay the fast basic support :).

    oal has a point. I love the fast intovps response times so please keep it this way. I also believe we (the usual intovps clients) are very familiar with the job of configuring our servers since we chose one without support. We can always go with Elvsoft or other companies if we want more... ;)

    What i would love to see myself are more software licenses available to buy: commercial server software, a billing system like WHMCS for example or some commercial CPANEL plugins will be nice! I bet you will be able to obtain a lower reseller price than the one we are paying as a isolated end client when we need to buy such licenses...
