London UK VPS'es now available

    After launching our new site yesterday we’re now opening a new location: London, UK.

    We’ve kept our excellent prices even in London, which is usually higher priced. Our VPS packages start at $10 / month, as usual.

    Our servers are placed in the Virtus Data Center (or “data centre”, if you like ) in Enfield, 12 miles North from the center of London. The network, operated by Coreix, offers very low latency for UK customers and includes links to: Tiscali International, Level 3, Abovenet, Enta, Goscomb, LINX, LONAP.

    Here’s an IP for ping and trace route tests: 89.32.144.101. We’ll add a download test shortly.

    Are there any plans for adding other locations in places like Australia, Canada, Washington D.C., and Brazil?

    From my experience, those can be very strong hot spots for traffic as well as India of course.

    No plans at the moment, we didn't decided where the next location will be or if we will add any other locations.

    We will, at the moment we are busy making 1 instance of hypanel for all locations, so if you have multiple vps's in multiple locations you will have them all in one place.

    We're always looking to expand to new places. But we're taking things step by step.

    We also need to find the best combination of good colocation services and good pricing. Which is a problem in Asia, Australia or South America.

    I know when I was working at um, well cant really say on a public forum so I don't get sued, but we used a data center in south Africa that actually wasn't all that bad. The only down fall about South Africa is the lack of bandwidth backbone providers.

    We can migrate VPS'es on request from other IntoVPS locations to London, UK.
    Please note that IP addresses will change, so you might have to update DNS records.

    The data migration service is free of charge. Just open a ticket.

    Londo VPSes are so fast, and providing Nginx instead of Apache2 descreases even more the load time. I'm very satisfied :)

    Well, we don't have nginx pre-installed in our templates.

    @lightningspirit probably meant that he installed nginx and got good performance with it.
